Now before you TOTALLY lose your minds… 😂

Yep, that’s exactly what it looks like. 🌐

Europa-Park is a theme park located in Rust, Germany that opened in 1975. So it’s not new to the theme park game by any means… but yes, it definitely got some direct inspiration from some theme parks we all know and love back at home. 😉😂 (I still don’t fully understand why… but hey 🤷🏻‍♀️ We had so much fun with it!)

The concept of Europa-Park is that each land is based off of a different European country. It is intricately detailed, beautifully immersive, and it has so many thrilling attractions. It is truly a high quality park and completely exceeded my expectations!

While some people get riled up at the fact that there are so many dis parallels… I absolutely loved it. It felt cozy and familiar. It’s like we got to experience a bonus international park while it was also still its own thing!

The overall guest experience was phenomenal too. We waited for two rides for 30 minutes… and the remaining rides were 5 minutes or less. Mostly walk ons!

We did 21 rides in the course of 8 hours. No fastpasses or genie+ or any of that. Just pure fun and enjoyment. And no stress. 🙌🏼

Would you consider checking out Europa-Park? 😌 I have to say, we absolutely loved it!

*stay tuned, YouTube vlog coming soon! 🤩

If you’re anything like me, you’re probably enchanted with cute German towns. The colorful buildings, the fairytale inspiration… it really does make you feel a certain way! 🏰

Landsberg am Lech is a Bavarian town that is only about one hour from New Schwanstein Castle. If you’re heading out that way, it’s very well worth stopping here on your way in or out.

Here is an itinerary for your visit to Landsberg am Lech:

🏮 The main thing that drew us to Landsberg am Lech is the Mutterturm which is often nicknamed “Rapunzel’s Tower.” It is a strikingly beautiful tower that looks straight out of a storybook.

🍂 While you’re walking around Mutterturm, you’re in a gorgeous park. Depending on the season, you may see fall leaves or freshly blooming flower buds. However, no matter what season it is, there’s a beautiful lake nearby with a waterfallI framed by a row of darling, colored buildings.

🌈 Cross the bridge and walk into town. You’ll find buildings that are beautiful pastel colors, and some with artistic detailing. These buildings are not just for show either - they’re home to a variety of shops!

🎄 If you’re there during the holiday season, Landsberg am Lech has Christmas Market booths. Be sure to check those out! Getting a cup of mulled wine and wandering through this town is an event in itself.

🥣 Lunch is a must! You’re bound to get hungry with all of this sightseeing, and you’ll have plenty of options to choose from. We stumbled upon Wirtshaus am Spitalplatz and absolutely loved it. Highly recommend the potato soup!

All in all, I would highly recommend stopping in Landsberg am Lech. It’s a delightful, peaceful, and enchanting town. There’s not much else more you could ask for. 💞

Just a quick little Germany grocery restock and I’m bringing you with us 🛒🇩🇪

As full time travelers, when we arrive in our home base for the month, we’ll do one big grocery shop to get all of the essentials. About 2 weeks in, we’ll do a small mid-month restock for anything we ran out of or need to add.

Today’s restock features getting ingredients for some white bean chicken chili (one of our favorite easy on-the-go recipes!) as well as regularly used items.

And honestly, for the price and how much we got, I think that’s pretty reasonable! 🫐

Have you ever done an international grocery shop before? 💭
